One of the first Canberra towns to be developed, Woden Valley, is located 10 minutes from the centre of Canberra, making it geographically almost in the heart of Canberra city. Woden Valley is a beautiful expanse resting between Red Hill and Mount Taylor.

With the major Canberra Hospital located here, Woden Valley is considered to be the medical centre of the ACT. Consisting of twelve suburbs, surrounding the town centre, where the street names have been carefully selected to reflect the contributions of certain characters that have shaped our diverse and rich history.

'Woden Homestead' is the oldest domestically occupied building in the ACT with a strong connection relating to the early growth of the region, once owned by Dr James Murray.
