Scale the lofty heights of one of Brisbane's most treasured landmarks the Story Bridge. The bridge was opened on July 6, 1940 and is a steel cantilever bridge stretching 1,072 metres in length linking Fortitude Valley and Kangaroo Point. Public servant John Douglas Story advocated the construction of the bridge so passionately that the bridge was in turn named after him.

Day or night you can capture the ever changing city skyline as the sun shimmers over the city-scape and surrounding mountains and the night lights reflect off the river as it winds through the city. Once you reach the summit, adventurers will be rewarded with 360 degree views of the Glasshouse Mountains in the north, Mt Coot-tha to the west, Lamington National Park in the south and to the north Moreton Bay and Islands.
