Home to some delightful coastal towns situated on the Bellarine Peninsula transforming into a lively holiday destination during the summer months. The resort town of Torquay is hailed as being home to some of the best surf beaches in the world with Bells Beach, 5 kilometres south west of town, being its claim to fame. The impressive surf coast runs from Torquay to Eastern View as surfers from around the globe converge on this surfing mecca to push their boundaries and challenge their bodies. Two of the most recognisable names in surfboards were born in Torquay, Quiksilver and Rip Curl, in the 1960's and 70's.
