Wilsons Promontory National Park or 'The Prom' as it is affectionately known by locals is located on the most southerly point of the Australian mainland. For a shorter drive the Arawata Scenic Drive is a short 25 minute drive from Korumburra and Leongatha. There is an abundance of walking and cycling trails for the energetic ranging from easy strolls to challenging overnight expeditions.

Prom country takes in many townships with Coal Creek offering a delightful family day out flaunting the history of a once thriving coal industry in the area. Built on the site of an authentic black coal mine, the community boasts a museum where visitors can step back in time.
